You should definitely put it on your "to do" list - the pictures don't come close to showing the beauty of the colors and depth of the canyon. You would love it, Becky! The kids were great - we had our "circle time" prior to leaving the car and were very specific about how to stay safe. :) Still, it is rugged. Just a small railing along the rim. As the kids rested in the car after our day at the Canyon, Paul and I couldn't stop talking about coming back for rafting and hiking trips when the boys get older. We will definitly return.
i will have to do that. i'm sure it's worth the drive. and i bet there is plenty of recreational things to do there which would be so fun for "big" boys. so glad your trip is so successful!
